Over 30 Palestinians Killed, 50 Injured in Israeli Air Strike on Gaza's Nuseirat Refugee Camp
An Israeli air attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza has left more than 30 Palestinians dead and over 50 injured, according to medics speaking to Reuters.
The strike targeted a post office sheltering displaced Palestinian families, as well as nearby homes, resulting in widespread devastation. Harrowing photographs show young children covered in dust and blood amidst the rubble of a collapsed building.
Nuseirat is one of the eight historic refugee camps in the Gaza Strip, established in 1948 following the forced displacement of Palestinians during the Nakba, or “catastrophe.”
